Bingo was officially created in 1929 by Edwin S. Lowe, a toy manufacturer in New York. Lowe discovered the game at a carnival held outside of Atlanta. The game of bingo was originally called “Beano”. This name came from beans (beans) used to cover the numbers called on a game card.
“Beano” became “Bingo” when a player misspelled the word while shouting victory.

What is Bingo?
Bingo is a card game that is played with a deck of 52 cards. Each player is dealt with X cards and the dealer deals with Y cards. It can be either held upright or face down to the player.
